Oxford Bus Company – EV Infrastructure

The project involved;

• Design and construction of all reinforced concrete structures (HV transformer bases, retaining wall(s), EV charger bases and LV container pads.

• Installation of below ground ducting network to provide power and data to 52 EV chargers.

• Armco barrier and palisade fencing installation.

• Principle contractor role of the overall programme of works.

• Engineering services throughout duration of works.

Before works commenced on full ground investigation survey was carried out which identified asbestos in one area of the site. Working closely with the bus depot operations team and with the services of a specialist asbestos management company we were able to navigate this sensitive area in a safe and controlled manner without impacting the programme of works and the operations of the bus depot.
