We started January with work on a substation build at Bedford Hospital. The superstructure work commenced on the installation of the metal deck and warm roof system to ensure that the building is weathertight for the switchgear deliveries in early February.
During November we completed a 110 linear metre directional drill under the River Nene to install 3no.180mm SDR ducts.
After a short interlude due to council restrictions, October saw the re-mobilisation of our major project at Stansted where we will be installing a new 33kV network over a 7km route to feed a new development near the airport.
During September we were engaged to construct a new ring main unit plinth to enable an emergency substation change in Copt Oak, Markfield that feeds a BT tower.
During August we were awarded the civils work associated with the installation of a new medium pressure gas main that will feed a new development in Milton Keynes East. With the opportunity to work under a road closure we deployed both our vacuum excavator and topcutter to accelerate the works.
